Journey's End

This is a dramatic story, told over four days in a British dug-out on the Western Front in 1918. The young and middle-aged men prepare for Germany's last great attack of the war with a fateful acceptance-exposing humorous repartee, personal conflicts and above all, an extraordinary acceptance of the hell about to hit them. R.C. Sherriff has drawn his characters from his personal experience in the trenches. His play has been much acclaimed and will be performed all over the world during the next four years.
