With extremely heavy hearts, Invercargill Repertory announce that Life Member and Past President Buffy (Elizabeth) Edlin sadly passed away yesterday evening. I'm sure you'll join with us in offering our deepest sympathy and condolences to Phill, Ilana, Abbey, Gareth and their extended family for their loss. Buffy's contribution to Repertory and to the Invercargill arts community in general will be very much missed. Buffy's passion, enthusiasm, wit and talent was invaluable to our volunteer organisation and will definitely leave a big hole in our Repertory family. 

Her daughter, Ilana, posted the following message on Facebook this morning:

It is with much sadness that I write on behalf of Phill Edlin, Abbey Edlin and Gareth Edlin and our whanau to let you know that our beloved wife and mother Buffy Edlin passed away last night in Dunedin Hospital.

Buffy's heart, that cared for and loved so many just couldn't go on any more.
We are all so very devastated and in this current climate  are unsure how or when we will celebrate our precious Buffy's life.
