Labour Weekend Update
Thank goodness for the long weekend!
Just like you, most of us are looking forward to saying goodbye to the year that was 2020! BUT before we do Repertory still have a few matters to attend to. Firstly, next Sunday November 1st we are holding auditions for our upcoming Members Only Production On the Right Track by Tim Hambleton and directed by the legend that is Gussie Johnson. Blackadder, The Golden Age 2021
After the SOLD OUT season of Last Legs, Invercargill Repertory proudly announced our next major production and our first show for 2021. Blackadder, The Golden Age by Richard Curtis, Ben Elton and Rowan Atkinson will be staged at SIT Centrestage Theatre in March. This Repertory production welcomes back Jason Fraser to devise and direct. Most of you will remember Jason's directorial debut for Repertory was the phenomenally successful Blackadder Goes Forth, The Play in 2018. Blackadder, The Golden Age is a prequel to 2018 production and set in the Elizabethan era with some familiar and new hilarious characters to have you laughing in stitches!
A pre-audition evening will be held at Repertory House, Esk St. at 7:00pm on Sunday 15th November with the actual auditions the following weekend Saturday 21st November.
